- Admits R800 ROM/DRAM in MSX Turbo R and Panasonic MSX2+ turbo mode.
- It has a switch to disable the RAM (allows the cartridge to be used in a secondary slot).
- It has a switch to select between two available firmware options for recovery in case of failure during firmware update.
- If there is a problem with the update, the user can change the firmware selection switch and boot with an older version, making a second attempt to update.
- The update program has a parameter that sets a pause before writing to memory, giving the user the opportunity to change the firmware selection switch.
- The command to update the firmware from the operating system is FBL-UPD.COM.
Attention! This cartridge is not compatible with the Mitsubishi ML-G1 and Sanyo MPC-100 machines, and may have some incompatibility with computers that carry a calendar at the start of boot-up type Sony. Although the MSX1 Sony p75 works perfectly in them.
SDMAPPER V2 is a versatile, fast, and modern support that is an essential element for those who have an MSX computer and want to use it as a hard drive and/or memory expansion.
This model (V2) has a single switch to activate or deactivate the memory mapper (the left switch) and the other (the right switch), which allows you to select the primary or secondary firmware.
Observations: available in black color (includes SD card).
Many SD or micro SD cards, due to the FAT 16 limitation, may give errors when formatted with the MSX system; that's why we send the cartridge with an included SD card with the basic files to operate.
