Hello Rancanuos! In this post we show you how our latest project, the ZX-Usb, goes, an original idea of our friend Mario, known in the ZX Scene as MAD3001 and coauthor of the popular ZX-Dandanator, CPC-Dandanator and Multiply. Its commercial adaptation is our work, just as we did with the dandanators.
What is this device for? Do I need one?
In broad strokes: connected to the expansion bus, you can use almost any modern USB peripheral on your machine. A before and after in the way you use your Spectrum.
Modern USB controllers
Arcade, PlayStation, Xbox, 8BitDo... and a growing etcetera.
Standard USB keyboards
Perfect if your machine's keyboard fails or you don't want to crush it.
16 configurable buttons
Developers are no longer limited to two action buttons.
Real multiplayer
Connect several ZX-Usb devices in series via the expansion bus: 4 controllers and score goals.
Also, you can use modern peripherals such as dance mats, steering wheels for car games, or the popular Guitar Hero guitar. It is fully compatible with FPGA machines like the NEXT/N-Go in classic games; we are working on making it compatible with their exclusive games.
How is the development going? When will it be ready?
We are in an advanced design phase, waiting to receive materials from our suppliers to manufacture the first series, with very significant features and improvements over the first prototypes.

Funcionaria el “8bitdo Wireless Adapter” que es un interfaz usb marron que parece que tiene ladrillos que sirve para conectar mandos inalambricos de consolas??

Yes, the 8bitdo wireless brown is a very good option to use bluetooth controllers, and we have tested the interface, among others, just with that model so it will serve you perfectly.

Good afternoon Miguel Angel, thanks for your message, if the zx usb works perfectly on the n-go in 128k and 48 k mode without any
configuration, to run the games in zxnext mode a patch is needed for each game that we will publish on our website,
the games are patched with a very simple pc app, just drag the game you download from the authors' website and apply the patch
very simple, the patch is necessary so that the games run at more than 3.5Mhz and do not slow down when enabling or disabling the expansion bus
